Estimating a release date for the game on Xbox seems hard after the update. Even if everything is figured out in a few days, it would still take months for implementation. Thus, the news might be one big bummer for Xbox fans in a comparatively magical year. Hopefully, Microsoft console owners would be able to dodge the spoilers until then.
