

The hype for Battlefield 2042 has seemingly died down because of a disappointing experience with the Beta Launch. Players were hyped to try out the new Battlefield, only to find out that the beta did not support several features as promised to the fans. If reports from leakers are to be believed, the developers are planning to not update many of the requested changes at the game’s full launch and this news has fans even further disappointed at the game.

Battlefield 2042 developers say big issues won’t be fixed with the full launch
Battlefield 2042’s release date looms much closer. Although scheduled this month, it seems so that the developers are backtracking on their initial promises made to the fans. All the Battlefield fans were aboard the hype for this new game and its exclusive beta launch. However, many players were disappointed with the lack of features in the beta launch. In fact, they have even gone to the extent of withdrawing from their pre-orders for full launch as well. This might have been the right decision given the latest development is even further disappointing,

Twitter leaker Tom Henderson revealed that the developers of the game are reluctant to fix issues persisting with regards to the full launch. Henderson said, “I reached out to a few [DICE] developers in regards to the Battlefield 2042 frame drop issues in the trailers and the consensus was ‘It is what it is until after launch.”‘

This would surely impact the premise of the game negatively, considering competitors such as Halo: Infinite and Call of Duty: Vanguard are also launching within the same window. Moreover, this would be quite detrimental for DICE and EA, given they cannot afford to lose their already disappointed fanbase.
