The Battlefield 2042 final version is out today, but it’s not what the players expected it to be. The game is a total disaster and players are not happy with it. After approximately a week of disappointment access, Battlefield 2042 final version is out now. In such a short amount of time, the game has managed to make almost every player unhappy with tons of issues.

And as happens when gamers don’t like a game, Battlefield 2042 is getting bad reviews.

Issues with Battlefield 2042

The main issues that need immediate attention include the game’s cheesy voice lines, annoying revive mechanics, poor map variety, not ideal map design, bad bullet spread, and super vocal operators, and many more. Other minor complaints include a less variety of guns, no single-player story, fewer in-game assignments, no global leader board, no spectator mode, no test range, and more.

Players are not happy with infantry gameplay. Some of the gameplay issues are no scope zeroing, no indirect fire gadget, no suppression mechanics, fewer vehicles, no direction indicator, no squad wipe scoring, no headshot bonus, no comeback bonus, and this list goes on. Reddit and Twitter are flooded with horrendous reviews about the game. And you’ll only find complaints and criticism about the game’s dumbed-down mechanics and poor audio system.

Disappointing gameplay

After such great hype and a series of delays, players expected better gameplay. But unfortunately, Battlefield 2042 doesn’t feel like Battlefield anymore. The majority of the gaming community is extremely disappointed with the casual attitude of the developers. And, it will be interesting to see how the developers of Battlefield 2042 will solve all these issues.

Right now Battlefield 2042 and Grand Theft Auto Trilogy are competing to be the most reviled game of the year. It definitely feels like EA‘s habit of rushing games to release them early has caused problems yet again. Clearly, a couple of more months in the development process would have resulted in a better product with fewer issues.
