Battlefield 2042 witnessed a disaster of a launch. Plagued with game-breaking bugs and glitches, fans were left disappointed by the title, to say the least. Halo Infinite has its own fair share of issues as well. Bad net code, lack of game modes, daunting and slow progression paired with monetization are just some of the many problems people have with the game.
However, it appears that Halo Infinite is being viewed in a much more favorable light. Although, Statistics regarding the player count, reflect that Halo Infinite is in the same condition Battlefield 2042 is in.

Halo Infinite is in the same boat as Battlefield
Multiple pages have reported a drop in player count for EA’s Battlefield 2042. The drop in player count is around a vast 70%. For a title such as Battlefield, which has millions of fans who were excitedly waiting in anticipation for the game, this number is concerning.
However, something that people might not realize is the fact that Halo Infinite is not doing really impressive either.

This Twitter user is under the belief that Halo Infinite’s dwindling player count has not been getting enough attention. While the player count for Halo Infinite is as low as that of Battlefield 2042, there are several aspects that come into play.
For starters, Halo Infinite is a Microsoft exclusive, This means that the game is only available for Xbox and PC. The game is a free-to-play title as well. This is obviously bound to attract a larger player base.

Battlefield 2042 witnessed an extensive marketing campaign. This created tons of hype and more fans and players want constant updates about the game.
While no one can objectively say which game is better or worse. Gaming fans believe that these 2 AAA titles need to buck up and give players the experience they deserve.
