The significance of this franchise is something else for some of the players who have grown up playing various installments showcasing the adventures of the now-iconic Master Chief. He has inspired and motivated a lot of hardcore fans of the Xbox exclusive saga who, even in their most difficult moments, try to make themselves strong, just like the heroic protagonist himself.

Halo is giving strength to a cancer patient who’s extremely passionate about the Xbox exclusive

A recent post on Twitter has melted the hearts of many gaming fans and people in general. A streamer named SummGuyy shared on their account that his friend, Joey, is suffering from a cancer disease and is currently admitted to the hospital. While sharing his friend’s picture, the user also wrote that Joey is fighting bravely just like Master Chief.

He even mentioned that if it wasn’t for Halo games, the two of them would’ve never met. Expressing extreme happiness, SummGuyy also wrote that he wanted to spread this message to the team of Xbox and Halo for them to see his friend’s love for the series. Joey eventually got a copy of the latest entry in the franchise, Halo Infinite.

Seeing such a passion for gaming, the official Xbox account on Twitter also reached out to SummGuyy’s tweet. The team wished his friend Joey good health while also mentioning that “Spartan strength and spirit are with you”.

Moreover, Xbox boss Phil Spencer also liked this tweet shared by Pablo Schreiber.

Additionally, Tashi, who’s Halo Esports and Viewership Lead at Microsoft and 343 Industries, also wrote a morale-boosting message for Joey.

Meanwhile, fans of the Halo franchise tried to cheer up Joey to make him feel stronger. They commented with positive messages for him and hoped for him to recover.
