It’s been over nine years since the release of Grand Theft Auto V, but the insane fan following for the game keeps increasing with time. There are over millions of active players playing the role-playing action game. This 2013 game became a major hit thanks to its engaging single-player campaign. But what kept the game alive was the thrilling multiplayer campaign.

GTA V role players host TakeOff funeral

Last week, the world witnessed the passing of the musical artist Kirshnik Khari Ball, popularly known as TakeOff. The American rapper was killed outside a Houston bowling alley. Many famous artists like 50 Cents, Beyonce, Dave, Tyler, and Rick Ross showed their respect.

However, the music industry wasn’t alone in paying tribute to TakeOff. Even the GTA V community joined the sorrowful moment. Many GTA and TakeOff fans got together to host a funeral for the late “Messy” rapper in-game. After all, they couldn’t join the actual funeral, so they arranged one in the streets of Los Santos.

A set of instructions for the event went viral, which stated fans to wear all white to attend the church, then full black for a house party in the memories of TakeOff. And finally, players had to wear the best outfit for an after-party. Later, livestreams of the event also went viral from the event, where Take Off fans wore white clothes and drove white cars.

Aside from these dress codes, the event hosts also came up with rules to follow the street law, no crashing, staying in a line, and everyone attending the event should have a microphone. Further, one of the most important rules of this event was the players were prohibited from killing one another. In the streams and videos, everyone could be seen following these rules.
