An enigmatic space scene from a mural in Fallout 4 has fans talking

Fallout 4 is another highly acclaimed title from Bethesda. This post-apocalyptic RPG is famous for its captivating storytelling and immersive gameplay.

There is a Museum of Freedom in the game. In the museum, there is a mural that showcases America’s involvement in several important conflicts. Be it the Revolutionary War, bloody moments from World War II, or the Liberation of Anchorage, the murals represented them all.

But gamers found one particular mural more interesting than all the others. This mysterious mural depicted an enigmatic space battle that no one knew was part of the Fallout universe. Upon close observation, players could see a bronze plaque in front of the mural that added further intrigue. This plaque describes the space scene as the “Sea of Tranquility Conflict.” This depiction seems to be of the Mare Tranquillitatis, the famous lunar plane where the Apollo 11 spacecraft and astronauts landed on the moon. Could it have something to do with Starfield? Fans definitely seem to think so.

Did Todd Howard hint at Starfield in the mural?

Everyone is wondering what the peculiar mural is about. Todd Howard, the director and executive producer of Bethesda Gaming Studios, is renowned for his impressive storytelling and also for his love of leaving puzzling hints behind for the fans.

No wonder why fans are not ready to write off this mural as an unnecessary detail. With Starfield knocking on the door, fans cannot stop themselves from speculating on new theories. This mural subtly hints at interstellar battles and futuristic explorations in the game, which could also easily be part of Starfield’s gameplay.
