The Game Awards is the most viewed event for the gaming community, and it even outperformed the Oscars in viewership. Although being an early award ceremony, all the eyes were still on this event because of games like Elden Ring, Stray, and God of War: Ragnarok fighting for the prestigious “Game of the Year” title.

Elden Ring eventually took the prestigious title this year. The game’s director Hidetaka Miyazaki received the award along with his team and gave a speech. But this grand moment for them was soon stolen by a 15-year-old kid named Matan Even. He crashed onto the stage with the Elden Ring team and nominated Bill Clinton for an award.

It was a massive shock for everyone attending the event and also for those watching it live. The kid surely stole all the attention, as his clip went viral across the internet. Even’s stage crash at The Game Awards 2022 became more viral than the American actor Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars this year.

The 15-year-old recently attended the podcast of NeonSniperPanda, where he revealed crashing into many other famous gaming events in the past. Maten shared, “I’ve crushed the Clippers game, kind of switched the shirt. A wildpad World of Warcraft panel at the Blizzcon. I think I did the first one when I was 12. The first two when I was 12 and then this one I was 15.”

The host further asked if he was not scared to stage crash in this manner. Even claimed he’s not above the law and also doesn’t want to get into serious legal consequences. But he added, “I think the main thing is that sometimes you know things happen, and you know this time there is a lot of good coming out of it.”
