The scam ads also look like ordinary ads. There are many instances where such ads lure the viewers in clicking on them. Eventually, they end up losing a large amount of money by falling prey to these scam ads.

Recently, Tesla co-founder Elon Musk took a jab at YouTube for this exact situation. He posted a tweet that showed how YouTube lacks any strict rule in bringing effective solution to the ever growing problem of scam ads.

As this tweet began to gain traction, MrBeast also shared his own experience with the annoying and dangerous situation of scam ads. In his reply to Elon Musk, Jimmy agreed with the former on the fact that YouTube seriously lacks any strong way of preventing misleading ads.

He revealed that thousands of people have been scammed already by the fake ads. They pose as MrBeast and try to give away money to the people who, believing it to be legit, fall for such frauds.
