Call of Duty is one of the few video game franchises equally loved for their single-player and multiplayer campaigns. In fact, with Warzone, the series has successfully transitioned into the online battle-royale genre. And fans are loving every second of it. However, with such massive worlds and the colossal player density, it’s only expected that things would go wrong.

Call of Duty: Warzone receives a thumbs down from fans

Glitches and bugs in battle royale games are nothing new. Significantly, many players have grown accustomed to these unsightly and at times game-breaking annoyances. However, the frequency with which these have plagued the online game world of Warzone is quite stellar. While the game’s launch was admittedly buggy, the recent Pacific update has opened the floodgates for technical issues.

The glitch in question serves as a supreme example of that. Shared by Reddit user tmac416, the glitch is simple yet annoying. Their video shows them trying to aim down sights(ADS) in-game, but a giant fleshy obstacle stands in the way. If you guessed it was the character’s thumb, you’d be right. Every single time tmac416 tries to ADS, their own thumb blocks the way.

“Oh my fat thumb’s in the way!”

Game Rant notes that what’s on display is a common Call of Duty: Warzone glitch. Essentially, it is about the various character model textures getting displaced or fragmented on occasion.

For instance, players can thank this glitch for seeing abstract objects with jutting spikes coming out everywhere. While that is the worst-case scenario, the current instance of the glitch is subtle in comparison.

To fix it, all players need to do is simply pick another operator from the vast selection or restart the game. Additionally, the publication claims this uncommon glitch is not likely to plague a diversity of players.

While it is hilarious to see tmac416’s reaction to the issue, it’s important to note that such issues still infest Warzone. As Activision focuses on the next iteration of the multiplayer title, fans would want them to fix their previous game first.
