Is Halo Infinite already dead?
In other news, with the official release of some highly anticipated titles like Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring, Halo Infinite saw a sudden drop in its concurrent player count. Techland’s most awaited title, Dying Light 2, recently saw its official release, and as expected, the response has been nothing short of overwhelmingly positive. The title witnessed a grand opening in its first week itself, raising significant concern for all its 2021 competitors like Halo Infinite.
After Dying Light 2, Halo Infinite saw a huge drop in its concurrent player. Within a few weeks, Dying Light surpassed Halo’s concurrent player record in steam, raising enormous concern for the developing team. However, surprisingly, even after getting a great start and positive words from critics as well as players, Halo has been having a tough time going head to head with the title.

While both games offer completely different things, they also possess the capacity to provide an enjoyable gaming experience. Halo Infinite might not be doing as well as it once was but it’s still got a lot of fight left in it.
