Diablo Immortal is the perfect example of how controversy can lead to a sudden rise and fall of a new release. Diablo Immortal sees exodus of streamers leaving Blizzard’s latest offering

Just a few weeks ago, there were tons of famous content creators playing Diablo Immortal. In fact, the fresh installment in its franchise became one of the trending games of June 2022. There was a newfound interest among the players to level up their characters. And to achieve this objective, they were even willing to pay as much as they could.

However, this was probably the major reason for the fall of Diablo Immortal. Why? Because the business model of microtransactions used by Blizzard Entertainment is very deep. It has caused the majority of the hardcore players to spend higher than their imagination.

Meanwhile, fans also seem to agree with the streamers as they think the game is not worth spending time and money on. Under Wudijo’s video, the comments section was full of players who felt the same. They thought that the developers of Diablo Immortal didn’t do anything except make a business model to make more money with the help of microtransactions.

“Blizzard no Longer deserves our attention or money,” commented one of the viewers of Wudijo.
