Nowadays, creator boxing has become a thing, with various YouTubers, content creators, and influencers trying their luck in the ring. This has also led to the emergence of more competitions with hand-picked contenders and massive cash prizes. A recent example of this is Ibai Llanos’ La Velada del Año II, a creator boxing event on Twitch. It features famous names such as Amouranth, who is all set to make her debut on July 1.

Similarly, another competition that lands into this category is the Kingpyn High Stakes tournament. Just like Ibai’s event, this competition features creators from around the globe. And currently, it is at its semi-final stage, with Nunes winning the quarters. However, the tournament has received much more spotlight after KSI showed interest in one of its contenders – Whindersson Nunes, the quarter-final winner.

Will Whindersson Nunes accept the challenge laid down by KSI?

Whindersson Nunes wiped out Filipek right at the end of round two as he smacked him with a body shot. Fans appreciated the Brazilian right after as they did not expect something like it in the creator boxing space. This instantly allured one of the biggest YouTuber-turned-boxers in the world, KSI.

Post Nunes’ fight, JJ uploaded a Tweet challenging the boxer to a duel. He said, “Nunes, I loved the energy you and your fans brought to Kingpyn. As soon as you won your fight, majority of the audience left. You need to realise that you’re bigger than Kingpyn.” In addition to that, he also revealed to max out Whindersson’s pockets if he accepted the challenge.

As of now, KSI will be fighting Joe Fournier on May 13 as part of a bumper pay-per-view bill in London. Keeping that in mind, he asked the Kingpyn semi-finalist whether he would fight after May 13. JJ also promised to fight Nunes’ in his home ground (Brazil) itself, giving him the upper hand.

So now, it is only time that will help us understand if Nunes will accept this challenge. After all, the odds are in his favor as KSI has promised triple money, a fight in Brazil, and the fact that he considers the boxer in the category of elites.
