Valkyrae had announced on January 14 that she intended to take a break from streaming. During the time of this announcement, the real reason behind this sudden decision was still shrouded in mystery.

Valkyrae has been associated with YouTube since early 2020 when she signed a new deal with YouTube Gaming and left Twitch. This decision proved to be an incredibly good one for her career, given the fact that she is one of the most-watched female streamer on YouTube currently.

Yesterday, the 100-Thieves co-owner had posted a tweet saying “Just a few more days. I miss my people” which had led fans to come to multiple conclusions. Some people started believing that Valkyrae might sign a new deal with Meta’s Facebook Gaming and was considering a shift from YouTube.
