Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has multiple references to Spidey’s friends and colleagues. So it might not be too far-fetched to believe that Wolverine just might decide to show up at some point as well. With Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 already having Wolverine-inspired suits in the game, seeing the tough mutant in the flesh would be a dream come true for the fans.

Wolverine to appear in Spider-Man’s world?

Insomniac Games announced a couple of years ago that they’re in the talks of making a Wolverine game. Logan aka Wolverine has a lot to offer given how the character is in the Marvel comics. Naturally, the prospect of having a game based on Weapon X’s life seems an exciting one to the fans. In a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games, Intihar talked about the possibilities of the Wolverine game and whether the mutant will come across Brooklyn’s web-slinger.

Intihar confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set on Earth 1048. This planet is among the thousands of Earths that exist across the Multiverse and is home to superheroes like Spider-Man. On being asked if a Wolverine game has been “confirmed or denied“, Intihar only mentions during the interview that “they’re all 1048“.

Naturally, this can have a lot of meanings for Marvel fans. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 makes man nods across the game to other superheroes including The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, and The Black Panther. So seeing another famous Marvel hero in the same universe may not be too ludicrous on the fans’ part. However, the wait is still on to see if Logan appears in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in the future.
