The performance was in the finale round of YouTube Escape 2021, a global interactive livestream that challenged people to play their way through 2021 trends.

The band gave a closing performance and surprised their die-hard fans with their first-ever Minecraft-themed concert. The concert video is already winning hearts on social media platforms.

Two days ahead of the big day, BTS’d announced their performance and also promised a grand surprise. And what a surprise it was!

YouTube also gave all the members of BTS a brand new makeover ahead of the performance. The Minecraft avatars were all different from each other and complimented the entire band very well.
