Xbox 360 is considered a revolutionary console. Not really a best-selling at that moment, but Xbox 360 became a legendary gaming device for prioritizing online gaming with Xbox Live and sticking to the importance of achievement awards in the game. Launched in 2005, fans have a special corner for the original Xbox 360

Now Mattel has decided to immortalize this fan-favorite gaming device. Already with their recent release Barbie, Mattel has received many acclamations from fans for delivering great social messages. Now the company has stepped further to bring another surprise for its fans.

Xbox 360 sold 84 million copies since its original version was released in 2005. This console was definitely Microsoft’s most successful device ever. Now Mattel brought a 1342-piece Xbox 360 buildable Mega Showcase to celebrate Microsoft’s legendary console device. This Xbox 360 is technically a block-building piece, which is similar to Lego.

However, Mattel’s one is made of Mega Bloks. A little smaller than the original console, this showcase still offers a pop-up battery pack on the controller. Additionally, the console has transparent vents. This Mega Showcase also has light-up features, which make the console rings glow green. Along with the console device, buyers will also get a transparent green buildable Halo Game 3 case. Although the console won’t play any game, users can still insert a disc.

Mattel’s Xbox 360 mega showcase is not the first of its kind

Immortalizing revolutionary console devices using plastic toy bricks is not a new thing. Previously Nintendo and Lego’s collaboration brought Nintendo NES in 2021. It is a buildable Lego set replicating Nintendo NES and an old television showing a Lego-themed Super Mario game. Featuring an exclusive resemblance to Nintendo’s classic 8-bit console, this Lego object offered AC adaptor ports with A/V ports and a door that flips up and down. Lego also offered buyers a portable Super Mario 1985 game cartridge which users could insert into the NES. It is still available on Lego’s website for $269.99.

Apart from Nintendo’s Lego-themed NES, Atari 2600 and Pac-Man Arcade cabinet were two other similar buildable toys from Lego, which became quite popular among people.
