MrBeast shares he was an outcast in his younger years
In the interview with Forbes, MrBeast shared how obsessed he was with his business. He said, “I just obsess over it. I obsess over it the entire time I am asleep. Then I dream about it, then I wake up and I do it again. Building this business is like cocaine to me. I just don’t know how to stop.”

Jimmy shared he spend five years of his life just obsessing over YouTube. He used to study all the successful videos thousands of times to figure out why they got so many views. He shared this obsession with content creation, and the online business had made him an outcast in his school.

“I just couldn’t speak normal teenager language. I just couldn’t figure it out. It was crippling…,” said the millionaire influencer. Jimmy shared how natural it is for him to talk to a camera than a person. The young influencer reminisced about how his family used to think he was “mute”.
According to MrBeast, in his younger days, he never found anyone who shared his passion. So he used to keep his words to himself and focus on understanding and perfecting his craft. Jimmy shared how he managed to gain 100k subscribers with a worn-down iPhone and his brother’s old laptop. He trained himself to edit his videos to cut costs and saved each penny to upgrade his gear.

In the end, this obsession that alienated Jimmy in his younger days became his greatest strength. He managed to accumulate an empire and a net worth of $500 Million before even turning 25.
