Destiny as TV and Movie series
With Destiny already being an internationally recognized franchise with a committed fan base, some fans may be concerned that a shift to other media under the wrong supervision might be damaging to the game’s narrative and characters.
With this in mind, it appears like Bungie is searching for someone who is already well-versed in the Destiny Universe. Bungie requires applicants to have a passion for the Destiny Universe in addition to extensive multimedia experience, stating that an ideal candidate will have spent hundreds of hours playing Destiny and exploring its world.

The Season of Lost, which is all set to launch on February 2022, will see Bungie finally bring The Witch Queen into the game. This will set a precedent for the final pieces in place before Savathun makes her full presence known.

As one of Season of the Lost’s most significant characters, Awoken Queen Mara Sov is prominently featured in the teaser.
Mara has returned to the Dreaming City after departing almost two and a half years ago to face the Darkness in preparation for the upcoming war with Savathun.
To do this, she is appealing to Guardians to assist her in rescuing the other Techuens who appear to be stuck within the Shattered Realm till they fall victim to Savathun’s sister, Xivu Arath.

As Bungie looks to expand Destiny into other media, perhaps we’ll see Savathûn and her siblings appear on other platforms in the future.
