The news that has been headlining the internet for the past few weeks is the MrBeast debates. It all began when Jimmy released the ‘1000 blind people see for the first time’ video on his main channel. Like flavor getting added to a drink, his subsequent activities piled up the criticisms against him. And the final cherry on the top was his latest philanthropist video.

All these dramas got the eye of popular streamer Ludwig. And he was seen sharing his insights on all these debacles that have been unfolding in the last few weeks.

Ludwig’s take on the ongoing MrBeast drama

Ludwig Ahgren, famously known for his streams and pranks, was first hesitant on commenting about these statements made against MrBeast. Mainly because the streamer thought this was just another Twitter chit-chat. But he noticed the issues were getting more complicated when Jimmy asked his fellow followers to help arrange the Feastables shelves in stores. And every subsequent step he made was replied with the frowny eyes of some.

Ludwig was talking about the reason behind this criticism and where they originate from. He feels like the aspect that a rich man swooshes in to save people and play God affects some people’s mentality. Many people seem to have this conception about Jimmy. A number of MrBeast criticisms originate with this very idea.

“MrBeast unlocked a new form of capitalism,” stated one of the tweets that Ludwig was reacting to. These were followed by criticisms against his donations. Ludwig divulged into these and talked about how weird these are. According to him, people are busy criticizing Jimmy for his actions, wherein the actual problems lie within the system.

What is the issue at hand? Ludwig explains his point of view

Instead of questioning why someone like MrBeast helps people get cataract surgeries, people need to ask why there is a problem with getting these surgeries. From Ludwig’s understanding, it seems like some people tend to feel like Jimmy is an agent of this system. And as he is standing within this capitalistic structure and helping others, that is what makes people hate him.

This does not mean Jimmy is the bad guy here. Ludwig says that MrBeast is not going to stop capitalism. He would work within it to do the good deeds he wants to do.

“But to hate him for it seems a little backwards,” stated Ludwig. He adds that people are free not to love his videos or his philanthropic work. But hating a guy because he does something good seems a little negative according to the streamer.
