Call of Duty brand seems to be a mess at the moment. And adding to its misery is the controversy regarding Warzone. The recent updates in the multiplayer have revealed endless bugs and gameplay issues in the once iconic title from Raven Software.

Since the makers pulled out Verdansk, the beloved map, and introduced a new region with Caldera, Call of Duty Warzone has only seen more problems than it has people having fun.

Call of Duty Warzone fans want Caldera out!
Warzone has been one of the most popular multiplayer games across the globe since its launch. Lately, however, its players have reported tons of issues to the developing team. As if the instances of cheating and hacking weren’t enough, they also began to face gameplay-related bugs.
It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the new year has mostly proven to be a nightmare for Call of Duty Warzone. Things got so bad, the devs even had to offer a note of apology.
Following its deployment of Caldera in Warzone, the majority of players have only seen either some bad glitches or they get killed by hackers. All thanks to various exploits in the Caldera map. In comparison, Verdansk didn’t have so many things to sort out during its run.
That’s exactly the feeling fans are having right now, and they just expressed it once again on social media when Call of Duty’s official Twitter account asked them this:

As soon as the tweet went live, angry players began to rant about Warzone about the state of the game. However, the main criticism came towards the Caldera map itself, which was obvious to happen. One angry user even wrote that “Caldera is dog s***.”
Simply put, they just want Verdansk back.

We all fell in love with #Warzone & it’s gradual decline is sad to see. This map really isn’t a match for #Verdansk & all it brings is loads of camping and wide open spaces, making the game boring. The WW2 theme is terrible & whomever came up with it should be fired. #DyingGame

Game is running so poorly on console it's almost impossible against PC. It's not even about FOV anymore. It's unplayable. I know the game will never be fixed on this version for next gen, but God if Activision had any sense of reality they'd fire the Creative Director at Raven.

I prefer dropping into fortnite chapter 3 where the creators care about their players and fixing issues. COD BR hasnt been good since blackout. The mechanics are clanky and the cheaters are out of control. Funny how epic games can control the cheaters and Activision cant.
