In general, they can find it in one of the mystery boxes. They are usually scattered around the Die Maschine map in the game. They are highlighted with small dots on the map.

If someone is not able to unlock the Ray Gun using the first method, they can try another one as well. But this one also requires a lot of hard work to say the least. To begin with, Call of Duty players will need Pack-A-Punch in the Die Maschine mission. As soon as the Maschine is built, they will have to find out five orbs and shoot them in a given area.

The first orb is usually found towards the left of the power room’s entrance door. Between the computers, players can end up searching it in order to shoot it. The second orb can be seen on the left of the Pack-A-Punch Maschine. The next one can be found just near the first orb’s location.

Players can hunt down the fourth orb by coming down to the platform below the Maschine; it will be seen glowing in a dark corner. Last but not least, the fifth orb can be spotted by moving further down the platform. There will be a barrier, looking like a window, from which Zombies will enter inside. The orb will be found in its left corner.
