“Crash of Duty” – CourageJD, Swagg, and Others Join the ‘Server Crash’ Parade Ahead of Modern Warfare 2 Launch

Modern Warfare 2 went live on October 28, 2022, and fans couldn’t keep their excitement content. They were finally happy to get access to this exciting title, as they had manifested it for years. However, their smiles faded away in seconds as the servers crashed right after release. Multiple users reported this issue, posting photos, videos, and updates about the same.
As a result, Activision and Infinity Ward instantly addressed the issue, promising a solution soon. But users were still not content about it, starting another controversy against them. They claimed that the franchise did an injustice to the masses as the content creators could play the game bug-free. Their statements were fair, as the most anticipated game of the year led to disappointment at the start.

However, the tables turned in the next few hours as their favorite content creators joined the parade. They expressed their sadness over Twitter, showing proof of the glitches via images and videos. And once again, the developers walked in to promise to fix it.

Activision and Infinity Ward did a great job developing Modern Warfare 2 as critiques, content creators, and fans gave a green signal. They flooded social media with appreciation posts, as they were far more than happy with the content.

However, their happiness was soon taken away at release, with the game’s servers crashing during the first login. Thousands of users couldn’t get past the main screen as the game stopped responding in seconds. As a result, they posted about the same on social media, asking for an answer from the franchise. Plus, they also received support from their favorite content creators as they joined the parade.

Looking at this, Activision and Infinity Ward somehow solved the issue as the complaint numbers fell with time. While some users are still dissatisfied with the issue, the path seems to be a bit clear for Modern Warfare 2.

Despite server crash, MW2 tops the charts
The Call Of Duty community faced multiple issues with Modern Warfare 2 at release. However, that did not stop the game from topping the charts as it broke the numbers on Steam.

Apparently, the numbers shined bright, with 200,000+ users in-game on the first day. The number isn’t as huge as it looks, but still, the game has a long way to go until the next one.
