In a tweet, it was disclosed that the latest Call of Duty Season 5  for Warzone and Vanguard will see many major inclusions. Like new operator skins, weapons, bundles, maps, a few game modes, and a new zombie mode.

The release date for the latest season is August 24, 2022, after which there will be no support for the game available from the developers. But with this update fans have reacted not so aptly to the closure of Call of Duty’s this chapter.

How did fans react to the announcement?

Although many fans were happy about the last stand of the game’s finale, some said they don’t know what to do with this information.

While some fans accused the developers of adding villains from other games, many thought that adding characters from different eras in a single game doesn’t make any sense. Although it can also be noted that fans would love to see a such fascinating concept come to life when it comes out.

Some fans even accused the developers further of using fan favorites just to make quick cash out of them. Notably, the game will feature villains like Raul Menendez, Khaled Al-Asad, He ‘Seraph’ Zhen-Zhen, and Gabriel Rorke. Season Five, the final season of content for Vanguard, goes live on August 24, following an update to Vanguard at 9 AM PT on August 23 and a Warzone update at 9 AM PT on August 24.
