Ever since its awaited debut last year in 2022, the ongoing premium entry from Call of Duty, Modern Warfare II, has witnessed a rollercoaster ride. While it has been popular among some players, others have mostly disliked it for numerous reasons. A major reason for disliking the game  is the issue of inevitable bugs. It looks like they are here to stay for a longer duration in the game.

Recently, an inexplicable glitch was discovered in the title. Apparently, it caused a player to face a situation where they got a pixelated version of Modern Warfare II. Yes, that’s correct, and it eventually resulted in some of the most funny reactions on the internet.

Although Season 2 has been received positively by most of the users, the issue of rare errors still persists. Despite a major fix for some of the most common bugs, it seems like the developers haven’t been able to patch all of them just yet. It became clear recently when a player shared how the Modern Warfare II version turned into a title from the 80s, for old generation of consoles.

The Reddit user, known as u/BernBoy32, dropped an image from the gameplay session of Call of Duty MWII. It showed a pixelated version of the $70 premium AAA blockbuster from Activision. According to the player, it was due to some kind of error but they weren’t able to fix it and thus asked others for help on Reddit.

However, it appears as if the users in the community were in the mood to take funny jabs at this post. As soon as u/BernBoy32 revealed the image from Modern Warfare II, other people began to express their hilarious reactions. “Damn bro really got to play the Switch port early”, wrote one individual who couldn’t help from taking a dig at this glitch.

The reference they used here is of Nintendo consoles getting Call of Duty games in the future, after the recent announcement of a 10-year deal between Microsoft and the Japanese giant.
