Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is almost on the verge of witnessing the end of an active support from devs. That’s because they will soon shift their focus onto the next major premium offering. It happens to be a direct sequel to the ongoing installment itself.

Ever since it was first revealed, Modern Warfare III has successfully captivated its fans. So much so, that they are extremely eager to get their hands on it despite having a not-so-good experience with MWII. It seems like a brand new COD always manages to excite the community, no matter what. This time, too, players are hyped for many unique surprises to arrive with 2023’s title. Few of them, however, want to see the return of a highly underrated character from an old COD game that came out in 2016.

Fans want Infinite Warfare’s Nora Salter Operator back with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

For the uninitiated, Infinity Ward had worked on a COD game titled Infinite Warfare. Unlike the Modern Warfare sub-series, the studio tried to do an experiment with this project. Its story was set in the outer space. Despite not clicking with many loyal fans, the game did leave an impact on players who were invested in its characters. One of them was Lieutenant Nora Salter, a member of the SCAR Team 1.

Alongside the main protagonist Reyes, Salter was also a crucial part of Infinite Warfare. Actress Jamie Gray Hyder had voiced her apart from doing the motion capture work for the character. Salter was available to play as an Operator in the Multiplayer setup for IW back in 2016. Since then, however, she has never made an appearance in any of the newer Call of Duty entries.

Recently, a hardcore COD lover took to Reddit and expressed their wish to have Salter back. They want her to make a return with 2023’s Modern Warfare III as an operator.

It will be interesting to see whether Salter comes back or not in the near future. Players who like her will surely hope so. Meanwhile, they are all looking forward to Modern Warfare III’s release in 2023. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, it will launch on November 10.
