While there’s a lot to explore in 2022’s Call of Duty titles, one thing that remains permanent as always is the hunger of players to unlock new weapons. And when it comes to deadly weapons, in general, there’s hardly anything that comes close to assault rifles. Especially the M13B, that has become the most trending weapon since the launch of Warzone 2. Still, most of the players don’t have an idea on obtaining it.

Firstly speaking about the main weapon itself, then the M13B comes under the Bruen Ops weapon platform in MWII. Being an assault rifle, it has got a higher fire rate and low recoil. To unlock it, players need to complete a challenge inside the DMZ mode of Warzone 2. Additionally, one can simply just purchase it as well, as part of a bundle, from the in-game store upon its availability.

Coming back to the DMZ challenge, then Call of Duty players will need to defeat the Chemist in the Radiation Zone. After that, they have to extract his dropped weapon. The Chemist is found in the radiation zone when players first enter the match. A radiation zone can be identified by a highlighted yellow circle on the map.

One important thing to note is that players will need to go for the radiation zone right away upon entering a DMZ match. That’s because only one person can obtain the weapon from Chemist in one single match.

When inside the radiation zone, Call of Duty players will need to use gas masks to avoid extreme damage. They can do so by defeating an AI opponent and taking their mask. After doing this, they have to run towards the center of the zone to find the Chemist. He will be seen in a bright yellow hazmat suit.

Then, the players will need to kill them and grab their M13B assault rifle. In the end, players have to make sure they don’t get killed by the wave of AI enemies. Ultimately, they need to get to the exfil and extract from the match. Another crucial thing to remember is that only the person holding the weapon during extraction will unlock the assault rifle.
