Nickmercs has claimed Call Of Duty to pay him a handsome fee for hosting an exclusive CDL party, and he is all set to do it. 

The Call Of Duty League stands as one of the biggest tourneys of the eSports world. Since its inaugural year in 2019, the league has allured thousands of fans. After all, they have connected with the players emotionally, sharing their wins and losses throughout. A recent example was Major 4, which featured two prestigious clans. It was the 100 Thieves going against OpTic in the grand finals. There, the LA Thieves sealed the deal by defeating OpTic Texas by 4-2.

Apart from that, the CDL was also a hub for retired pros and big-time streamers who hosted watch parties for the same. Some names included Scump, King, and now Nickmercs. Apparently, Nick has made a massive claim about Call Of Duty in regard to the upcoming Major 5.

We all are aware of big-time Call Of Duty players hosting watch parties during CDL for fans. A live example of this is the retired pro-Scump, who takes away a massive viewership number at all times. But, it was never revealed if the league pays a fee to these pros just to host events.

However, it looks like they do as Nickmercs has revealed about it. During his recent Call Of Duty stream, Nick revealed that he asked him to host a watch party for a price. Call Of Duty is paying me to do a CDL watch party of the championship. So, we’re gonna do it,” he said in his opening statement. Then, he stressed how it would be nice if FaZe was part of the finals, given that he belongs to the same clan as it would add the extra honor.

On the other hand, he hoped the LA Thieves do not rank among the finalists–some quick banter from the COD pro. However, the team won Major 4, so it would be hard to not consider them as an option.
