Recently we got to witness two Esports giants in the Call of Duty scene lock horns for the League Major III finals. This match had every aspect that was mentioned above, but what caught the eye of many was Nadeshot’s statements regarding Faze, and how it eventually came to bite him back.

Nadeshot gets a shot back for his remarks on Faze amidst the Call of Duty finals

100 Thieves is one of the biggest Esports franchises in North America. The franchise has various rosters in different games across the competitive scene. Los Angeles Thieves are their subsidiary team which boasts their strong Call of Duty roster.

This squad is considered to be quite powerful, and as a result of their expertise in the game, the team managed to reach the Call of Duty League Major III finals. They locked horns with Atlanta Faze, yet another powerhouse franchise.

The match began with a ‘Hardpoint’ mode in the Mercado Las Almas map. The match was heavily favored against LA Thieves as they were dominating in capturing the Hardpoint. Seeing his team outperforming the opponents, Nadeshot blurted out something against the opposition.

At the watch party hosted by Methodz, Nade was present. He exclaimed, ” These guys are dogsh*t.” He stated these bold remarks following the dominance LA Thieves were showing. At the time when Nadeshot was saying this, LA Thieves were up 55-12 against Faze.

But it seems like his words came back to bite him. The map which LA Thieves were dominating quickly went the other way. Soon, Faze took up momentum and went on to win the map with a final score of 250-239 in favor of Atlanta Faze. The thrashing that Nadeshot and his team got did not end there. The match, which was scheduled to be a best of 5, did not go the LA Thieves’ way.

The second mode was ‘Search and Destroy’, in which Faze literally destroyed their opponents 6-0. The final hope of LA Thieves was ‘Control’ mode in the third set. But they lost this as well, ending the match 3-0 in favor of Atlanta Faze.

CELLIUM of Atalanta Faze went on to score an impressive 49/30 KD with a +1.63 K/D ratio.
