Fortunately, the golden days have now returned once again for hardcore CoD fanatics. This is a special treat for those who couldn’t play them on their consoles in recent years because of dead servers. But recently, the iconic games from Activision’s classic catalog have received a new life after Xbox fixed matchmaking issues for online matches in older installments. Following the surge in their popularity, a renowned CoD legend and YouTuber also went back to his favorite titles in the series.

Jev is super happy after replaying Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, from 2009, on the Xbox 360

The famous YouTuber doesn’t need any introduction. He’s earned a reputation in the community for his amazing gaming skills as a CoD player for the past few years. These days, he just enjoys various titles while also spending time on newer entries from Activision in the FPS series.

For many weeks, however, Jev had skipped playing the latest CoD game, Modern Warfare II, after feeling exhausted due to having a poor experience with it. He just couldn’t feel the vibe that he used to have with classic offerings. Eventually, he decided to opt for other random titles that were released in 2023.

Thanks to the revival of old installments on the Xbox 360, Jev has been able to play the likes of Black Ops 2 and 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, the original title from Infinity Ward that has loosely inspired the ongoing entry. In one of his latest clips, Jev expressed his feelings about returning to MW2 on his Xbox 360 console.

“I feel at home”, read the YouTuber’s video title. He started the game while saying that he’s back to playing “the better” Modern Warfare 2 and “not the bad one”. Indirectly, he took a jab at the current entry from Activision as it has failed to woo the majority of players.

To his surprise, the viewers have also ended up liking his videos on old CoD titles ever since he started uploading them a few days ago. This means that nostalgia hasn’t faded away just yet for those who have grown up enjoying the classic installments. This is probably the reason why they are not only playing them again but also showing an interest in watching content based on them.

Apart from Modern Warfare 2, however, Jev’s also tried going back to the first Black Ops and also 2011’s Modern Warfare 3.
