Call of Duty has always offered fans the greatest first-person shooter experience. However, the video game series now offers fans funny and clever posts on social media that are also taking over the platform. Recently, Call of Duty copied a famous podcaster’s tweet to call back an old map.
CoD’s Twitter account always keeps fans updated with the latest news about their games. But what’s fascinating is how they come up with unique ideas to promote their games. Recently they used racing driver Oscar Piastri’s reference to promote the Marina Bay Grand Prix. Now they have another such reference to promote their game.

Call of Duty ‘hijacked’ Jeremy Clarkson’s tweet
Jeremy Clarkson is not an unknown name to anybody. He is a famous broadcaster, journalist, and game show host, famously known for shows like ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ and ‘Top Gear.’ Recently, the English personality shared a picture from his holiday on a boat and tweeted, “Don’t worry if your A level results are disappointing. I got a C and 2 Us, and I’m currently holidaying on this boat.”

This tweet by the famous English broadcaster caught the attention of Call of Duty’s Twitter admin, who used this opportunity to promote an old map. In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, there was a 6v6 multiplayer map called ‘Hijacked,’ which takes place on a superyacht. This map was added to the game in 2021 as part of Season Four.
