And now, Season 4 will also reintroduce a beloved map from nearly sixteen years ago. It was first seen in the original Modern Warfare – the game that started the never-ending popularity of an amazing sub-series.

Well, it’s time to say hello to Showdown one more time because Season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is brining it back. This news was officially confirmed by Infinity Ward devs in a recent blog.

Although it belongs to the original CoD 4 installment, the new version of Showdown is currently present in the Ahkdar Village area of Al Mazrah. The map will be available for the players at Season 4’s launch next week. There is more intel to expect on this map before the release of the next crucial update.

Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is now available worldwide. Players will be able to enjoy its new season on June 14th, 2023. Those who are yet experience this premium game can get it on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One, and PC.
