With the grand debut of the ongoing Call of Duty installment in Modern Warfare II last year, fans also received various new features and a complete overhaul to how they play the titles in the franchise. Especially when it comes to making their progress. While trying to stick to the promise of delivering a new era of the action-packed series, the developers also unveiled a fresh Battle Pass system in the game.

The revamped Battle Pass format works dynamically now. It’s not something that Call of Duty players used to have in previous entries. Now, they have got something called Battle Pass tokens, using which they can unlock any reward they want, as per their preference and strategy to progress through a given season. Basically, they get the freedom of choosing their preferred reward they want to unlock quicker.

Does Call of Duty Modern Warfare II feature the option to gift the Battle Pass?

Instead of the older, horizontal strips of Tiered unlockable content, players now have a large-scale map. Technically, it’s called the Battle Pass Area of Operations (AO). The current season of Modern Warfare II as well as Warzone 2 is divided into 21 combat sectors. They range from B0 (Bonus Sector) to B20. One can unlock amazing weapon blueprints or attractive Operator skins by purchasing the pass.

However, when it comes to sharing the Battle Pass in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, that’s not something players are allowed to do. In fact, there’s been no option to do so in the ongoing title since its release last year. The situation has remained unchanged with the recently launched Season 2 as well.

Call of Duty players doesn’t have the feature to gift the Battle Pass this time. However, it’s something the previous installments used to do. In case anyone missed keeping track of past events, 2019’s Modern Warfare and 2020’s Black Ops Cold War had the option to share the Battle Pass with other people as well.

Unfortunately, the latest game lacks any such feature as of now. Hopefully, it will be added in a future update by the developers. Because there are many players who want to share the perks of the Battle Pass or gift it to their friends as a sweet gesture. Currently, they cannot do that either for Modern Warfare II or Warzone 2.
