A year later, Treyarch brought back Gunfight with 2020’s Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. However, it only had nine maps for the players which was slightly a bummer, coming from MW. Sadly, Vanguard didn’t even include this mode and many users who fell in love with Gunfight have been impatient for its return since. Now, it seems like their wish is going to get fulfilled soon.

Going by the intel revealed by an industry insider Hope, on Twitter, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is reportedly bringing back the Gunfight mode soon to its Multiplayer experience. Hope shared this major news which was initially unveiled by BKTOOR5 on social media. He had datamined the logos for Gunfight and found out that it might make a comeback this year.

However, Gunfight isn’t the only surprise that will make Modern Warfare II fans delighted. Another datamined mode called Gun Game, is expected to make its awaited return in the ongoing installment. Gun Game was originally introduced in 2010’s Black Ops. Being a Free For All mode, it features all the players starting with a similar gun and overall loadout. By scoring each new kill, they keep getting a new weapon during the entirety of a match. Not to mention that this specific mode is a series staple.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is now available across the globe. Interested players can enjoy it on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
