Seems like there’s a brand new hidden secret in the ongoing Call of Duty entry. Several Modern Warfare II users recently discovered it, following the start of the new year, that is, 2023. Currently, there’s a surprising Easter Egg featured in the game from Infinity Ward. What’s special about it is that it wishes the players for entering in the new year itself!

In fact, players have been trying to explore hidden details while going through the maps of Multiplayer modes in Activision‘s latest game.

Speaking of Multiplayer in terms of Easter Eggs, then there seems to be a unique one currently present in the ongoing installment. In case anyone missed it, Infinity Ward keeps updating the game to fix the issues and add fresh elements in order to make the overall experience better.

Recently, some of the Call of Duty players on Reddit took to the social platform to share their experience of witnessing a unique Easter Egg under Modern Warfare II. And it’s connected with a bundle that was recently revealed inside its in-game store. Apparently, a bundle called New Years Tracer Pack allows the players to have tracers while shooting the weapons attached with this specific bundle. However, not many of them are aware of the fact that these weapons also display certain messages on any enemy player’s bloodsplatter.

A user named TNT_Jonathan recently shared a couple of screenshots from their experience of MWII. They found out that after killing an enemy standing in front of a wall, their bloodsplatter showed a hidden message. Technically, it was a greeting, as the message spelled out ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR’ or ’23’ on different instances.

This is quite an interesting easter egg as anyone who is having a hard day in a match might end up getting some sort of positive feeling seeing this kind of greeting. After all, the new year has just begun few days ago!
