The revamped Battle Pass format works more dynamically than what Call of Duty players used to have in previous offerings. Now, they have got something called Battle Pass tokens, using which they can unlock any reward they want, as per their preference and strategy to progress through Season 1.

How to get the Battle Pass Tokens in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II?

Instead of the previously popular horizontal strips of Tiered unlockable content, players now have a large-scale map. To be precise, it’s called the Battle Pass Area of Operations (AO). The current season of Modern Warfare II as well as Warzone 2 is divided into 21 combat sectors. They range from A0 (Bonus Sector) to A20.

What’s different with the new Battle Pass system in Call of Duty MWII is that it offers Battle Pass tokens to the users. They can use them to obtain any desirable item they wish to have. Thankfully, earning these tokens is not a very difficult procedure at all for players engaged in Multiplayer matches, Warzone 2 battle royale, or the DMZ mode.

As players earn XP after a match, it now gets utilized to increase their chances of getting battle pass tokens. The more XP they earn by playing matches, the more tokens they will keep receiving. They can then use them to unlock any reward of their choice from the non-linear battle pass map. The total number of available tokens to use is always indicated on the bottom right corner of the battle pass screen.

For those who are not interested in grinding out the tokens, they can simply purchase them from the in-game store of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Selecting the ‘Buy Tokens’ option will enable them to purchase a certain amount of tokens according to their preference. A single token can be bought for 150 CP (Call of Duty Points). However, getting an entire Battle Pass bundle will provide an extra 20 tokens.

Activision’s Modern Warfare II is now available across the globe on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
