Call of Duty fans witnessed a great surprise this year when Activision and Infinity Ward released an anticipated entry in Modern Warfare II. Ever since its record-breaking debut, the latest action-packed installment has succeeded in swaying most of the players.

Unfortunately, the game has also faced serious instances of fans making complaints regarding certain features, modes, and other mechanics. Recently, a Call of Duty player voiced out their frustration over a specific category of challenges in Modern Warfare II. And going by their opinion, it’s too exhausting to complete them in the game.

‘Longshot Kill’ challenges shouldn’t exist in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, according to some fans

With latest new entry in the series, the team at Infinity Ward has also introduced tons of amazing challenges in order to unlock different lucrative rewards in the game. That’s what keeps the enthusiasm going among the users who want to unlock numerous items by finishing specific challenges attached to them. Among them are also the Longshot Challenges.

As their name implies, completing Longshot Challenges means accomplishing tasks of hitting shots from a certain distance in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Multiplayer matches. For example, there’s a Shotgun challenge that requires the players to take their shots from a distance of at least 12.5 meters. Same is the case with some Sniper Rifles as well, where the distance needs to be over 50 meter mark.

Following their exhausting experience with Longshot Challenges in Modern Warfare II’s Multiplayer, one Reddit user recently took to the social platform to express their angst. They came up with a petition to have this category be replaced as soon as possible.

The Redditor, known as u/WillyATL, mentioned that instead of Longshot Challenges, Call of Duty can introduce their replacements. Moreover, they even suggested new challenges that will be more engaging than the ones requiring a certain distance to achieve an objective.

As one can see in the subreddit, above, the suggested challenges include options like objective-based attack kills, defend kills, kills after switching and more. In case many other users come up with their problems regarding Longshot Challenges, the developers will need to do something about this situation.
