Call of Duty fandom has mostly enjoyed playing the ongoing premium offering, Modern Warfare II, from Activision. However, despite being the biggest blockbuster release of 2022, the latest installment is facing serious issues lately. While Season 2 has been good in terms of offering varied content, players are not happy with how several Multiplayer modes are operating.

In case anyone missed keeping track of events, Call of Duty devs had introduced some classic party modes for MWII recently. Among them was also a specific mode called ‘One In The Chamber’. The latter has been present in previous installments and it finally made its return with the current entry a few days ago. However, those who have experienced it before are not satisfied with its implementation in the ongoing game.

Infinity Ward had already added Gun Game, Infected, and Grind to Season 2 when it was initially released. And as promised earlier, they rolled out the remaining party modes mid-season. Drop Zone, All or Nothing, and One In The Chamber are the ones that fans received with Season 2 Reloaded. Unfortunately, not all the players have been able to enjoy them as they wanted to.

A Reddit user recently took to the social platform to express their disappointment towards Call of Duty devs. The individual, known as u/RainbowGames, tried to explain that Modern Warfare II’s version of ‘One In The Chamber’ is messed up. Basically, they mentioned that it’s not designed well for the current installment. Also, it’s missing the very essence that made it amazing in older installments.

“The point of One in the chamber is to be the last man standing using only the knife and highly limited ammunition. But in MWII? The goal is to get as many kills as possible using limited ammo and the knife but it doesn’t matter who is the last survivor,” read the description of the Redditor’s post. Have a look at it below:

It seems like the basics of ‘One In The Chamber’ are missing from Modern Warfare II. This means that devs will need to address this situation as soon as possible, to provide clarification regarding the classic party mode’s complicated redesign. It wasn’t the case with its appearances in previous COD games.
