Ever since its worldwide launch last year, Activision’s Modern Warfare II, the newest Call of Duty offering, has witnessed an interesting phase. Yes, it has become a blockbuster title, but there have been many issues as well related to its overall experience. Not to mention that a lot of players have been very vocal about the bugs and glitches they have come across in the last few months.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t want it to be amazing. In fact, some of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare II fans have expressed their wish to get a refreshed Multiplayer format in this game. To be precise, they want to have an option of night mode in the online matches; specifically for the currently available maps.

There’s no doubt about the fact that Season 2 of Modern Warfare II is bringing tons of amazing changes. Along with Ranked Play and Hardcore Mode, fan-favorite modes like Gun Game and Infected are also coming back. But as is the case with popular video games, players always want more.

Recently, a Call of Duty player on Reddit expressed their wish to see the night version of existing Modern Warfare II maps. The user known as u/venusunusis shared a post while expressing their sentiments for night maps of 2019’s Modern Warfare. In case anyone is not able to remember, the rebooted game, from nearly four years ago, initially had the option of night maps. Later, they were removed by the developers.

Redditor u/venusunusis wrote in their post how they are really missing the night version of the maps from 2019’s MW. Moreover, they also wish to see the current game’s maps in their night time. Specifically, they mentioned the names of Taraq, Las Almas, El Asilo, and Farm 18.

Only two maps right now feature a sort of night setting. While one is the Crown Raceway, the other one is Shipment. But they are still not dark enough according to what the Reddit user has stated in their above post. It will be interesting to see if the devs under Activision decide to add a dedicated night mode for the Multiplayer maps or not.
