Activision’s ongoing Call of Duty installments in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 have been around for more than two months now. While these titles have amassed a lot of popularity, players have also gone through various situations of facing unexpected errors and issues. And to deal with them, the makers have rolled out important updates.

Following the last major update of December 2022, the developing team recently released another necessary patch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, as well as the battle royale title. The patch notes revealed by the makers unleash some quality-of-life changes. Along with them, there are certain crucial fixes as well, being introduced for bugs that were annoying the users for the last few weeks.

Going by the official patch notes, added to the page for December’s Season 1 Reloaded update from 2022, some major bugs have been resolved now. To begin with, the issue regarding the navigation of Battle Pass has been fixed. Furthermore, users can now check the unspent battle pass tokens more easily. Bug Fixes (Modern Warfare II)

  • Issue fixed that caused multiple speaker names to remain on screen when four or more players were talking in chat.
  • Issue fixed where Tier 1’s Playlist title for Shipment displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where several players used to get kicked back to Main Menu when pressing the View Party button.
  • Ability to mark targets using the Spotter Scope has been disabled temporarily. That’s because the issue is currently being investigated.
  • An issue has been resolved that caused visual error with Combat Knife in the Armory.
  • Fixed an issue with directional navigation for progression in Gunsmith.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to move the text on Attachments in Gunsmith.
  • Multiplayer: Fixed an exploit that allowed access to non-Core MP maps in a Private Match.

  • An issue has been resolved that sometimes prevented match wins from counting toward Calling Card Challenges.
  • Issue fixed that allowed players to gain XP when damaged by their own Suppression Mine.
  • An issue has been fixed that allowed users to maintain the effects of Dead Silence or Battle Rage by buying a new Field Upgrade. It happened when another one was already active.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to gain XP when using a Stim in the Gas.
  • Issue fixed that could cause the game to get stuck and disconnect a player, or cause loss of functionality. It used to happen after interacting with a Loadout Crate.

Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 are now available across the globe. Interested users can enjoy them on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
