Activision is leaving no stone unturned in offering engaging content to Call of Duty players of Modern Warfare II. Since the launch of Season 1 for this title, it has gone through various refinements and changes. The devs have been focusing on adding new mechanics, maps, and also a bunch of modes too.

Continuing this pattern in the new year as well, the makers are set to offer a lot of Multiplayer modes in Season 2. The highly anticipated update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is arriving next week. While it will feature numerous additions in terms of weapons, features, and maps, there will be a new online mode to watch out for as well. This mode is none other than Grind. Those who don’t have an idea about it need not worry anymore.

Grind mode explained in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

The developing team at Infinity Ward just recently dropped a full blog detailing everything coming to the game in Season 2. While mentioning all the changes and additions, they threw light on half a dozen modes for the Multiplayer setup. Grind is also among them. Per the official description, its “roots trace back to Modern Warfare 3, Grind is Kill Confirmed with an added twist: enemy dog tags are stackable and must be banked at one of two fixed locations.”

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players will need to bank as many dog tags as possible at once. This will give them a golden chance to maximize point gains. However, they will have to survive till the end in order to prevent the enemy from getting their tags.

Going by the description, this mode sounds quite fun, to say the least. But it will be interesting to see if it will impress the players themselves or not. Especially considering the fact that it is simply Kill Confirmed with a slight modification. As for the Season 2 update, it will release on February 15, 2023. The new season is full of various challenges and rewards to be earned upon finishing them successfully.
