Call of Duty Reveals a Game-Breaking Issue for PC Players in Modern Warfare II and Warzone Is Being Investigated

The latest premium Call of Duty offering from Activision in Modern Warfare II has been out for more than a month now. Along with that, the battle royale title Warzone 2 is also available worldwide. Although the two games have impressed most of the players, there are several inevitable problems going on in both these installments.
Thankfully, the team at Call of Duty has eventually acknowledged the situation, especially regarding the PC platform. Because currently, there’s been an issue, causing irritation to the players in both Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 are having a GPU crash situation on PC
Recently, the official account of Call of Duty posted a tweet on the social media platform. It was regarding a situation, specifically causing annoyance to the players running MWII and Warzone 2 on PCs. In the tweet, the makers ensured the players that the developing team of Beenox and Infinity Ward are working closely to fix it.
We are aware of, and working to resolve, a specific PC GPU crash issue that is impacting some #MWII and #Warzone2 players with NVIDIA graphics cards.
Our teams at @BeenoxCODPC and @InfinityWard are working closely with NVIDIA to identify and fix the issue.

Apparently, there’s a GPU-related crash issue in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 combined. It has been impacting some players having Nvidia graphic cards. As of this writing, the game-breaking issue is still being identified and resolved by the devs who are working alongside Nvidia.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Campaign (PC) Review – A Worthy Sequel to an Iconic Blockbuster

As for Modern Warfare II and the newly introduced battle royale, they are generally performing great since their debuts. While the Campaign version, along with the Multiplayer, generated a massive revenue of over $1 billion in just 10 days, Warzone 2 went on to attract more than 25 million players in a duration of only days.
The two titles have brought new gameplay mechanics. Some players have found them mediocre while others are liking them. For example, the proximity chat feature in 2022’s battle royale has turned out to be an amazing addition. Most of the fans in the franchise’s community have called it an engaging a fun-filled option.
