Because no video game is perfect, especially during the early days of the launch. It seems like this is the exact same case with Activision and Infinity Ward’s latest title, specifically on the Xbox consoles.
In a recent tweet, the developing team of Infinity Ward itself revealed that a major issue on the Xbox platform is causing problems for Call of Duty players. Apparently, Xbox players of Modern Warfare II are not able to matchmake when they are in the parties of more than three users.

In other news, some players of Warzone 2 are not able to play the free-to-play title. Because it’s forcing them to purchase Modern Warfare II in order to play the battle royale. Due to a mysterious reason, they get locked out of the game unless they buy the paid version. Usually, a free-to-play title like Warzone doesn’t require purchasing of the main game whatsoever.
It looks like the Call of Duty makers have got a lot of stuff to fix in the coming days. Meanwhile, the latest installments in the long-running franchise are now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
