Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players are currently not having the most pleasant time with Activision’s blockbuster from last year. Along with this installment, the Warzone 2 battle royale is also failing to impress them. This means that devs will need to pull up their socks sooner than later. However, it seems like the upcoming update might change the situation, for good.

As of now, many COD lovers are curious to see what Season 3 has in store for them. So that they will be able to enjoy MWII and Warzone 2 more, compared to how they have turned out to be so far. Yes, the ongoing season has offered them lots of content but it’s not been enough. Thus, the next season will need to be as good as possible to keep the players engaged for long hours.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Season 3: New operators and Multiplayer modes are on the way!

So far, there have been tons of leaked information hinting towards the most amazing surprises yet, for COD players. When it comes to the premium title in MWII, it’s expected to receive several new modes. For example, leaked files have revealed that Capture The Flag, Gun Game, Gunfight, and Demolition are coming to Season 3. They will either arrive at launch or later with a separate update going forward.

Coming onto the Battle Pass Operators for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, then the debut of Alejandro Vargas, Valeria Garza, and Alex Keller is almost confirmed now. That’s because some of the data miners recently unveiled voice lines for these characters, hidden in the Season 2 files. It will be interesting to see who will eventually become the main highlighted Operator of Season 3 Battle Pass.

What’s coming to Warzone 2 in Season 3?

Thanks to an insider, called BKTOOR, it’s already been revealed that highly anticipated Plunder mode is coming back. It was first introduced in the original Warzone and now it will make its awaited return to its successor as well. Players will get the options of Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads. Moreover, the Ranked mode for the battle royale is also highly rumored to finally make its way to Warzone 2.

When is Season 3 of COD Modern Warfare II releasing?

Going by the number of days left for the current Battle Pass in Season 2 Reloaded, the next season should arrive on April 12, 2023. This means the seasonal refresh will take place around 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/5 PM BST on the expected date.

All things considered, it seems like the third season will likely end up attracting many players back to Modern Warfare II. The ongoing installment is currently struggling to hold its own in terms of engaging the users. Hopefully, the upcoming content will make them hooked for a good amount of time.
