The brand new Call of Duty installment in Modern Warfare II has been a huge success for Activision. It’s the biggest launch in the history of the franchise, making over $800 million in first three days. However, the new era of the series is just getting started since Warzone 2.0 is yet to make an awaited debut.
A reputed streamer and insider has just revealed that Activision is organizing another major Call of Duty event. Interestingly, the event is reportedly happening this week itself ahead of the big launch of Warzone 2, which will feature a brand new mode.

Ever since the leaks for DMZ mode surfaced across the internet, it has kept the fans curious. So far, it’s expected to be similar to what Escape from Tarkov has done in its gameplay. In September’s COD Next, Infinity Ward’s team had confirmed DMZ but didn’t mention anything more. They left it for a grand reveal in the Warzone 2 entry itself.

Now it looks like the time has come for DMZ to show up. Industry insider and famous streamer Modern Warzone recently tweeted a massive news on his account. According to him, there’s going to be another major Call of Duty event in November, ahead of Warzone 2’s ultimate release.
To be precise, Modern Warzone wrote that there will be an “in person event this week where a select group of content creators will be streaming a first look at DMZ and another early look at Warzone 2.”

Furthermore, the streamer mentioned that DMZ mode is already looking exciting, according to what he’s heard of it so far. Plus, he also revealed that he may have spoken too soon regarding the November event from Call of Duty. Because it is yet to be officially announced.

It will be quite interesting to witness another in-person event after COD Next. Especially when it comes to the fresh game mode in DMZ, that has kept most of the battle royale fans on edge.
