It seems like Activision has begun the marketing for Call of Duty 2023 – not officially though. Thanks to an unexpected recent leak, the first look from this year’s rumored Modern Warfare III is reportedly out in the open.
The latest detail comes from an energy drink brand. However, what’s even more interesting to note is a weird connection MWIII’s logo has got with a classic Black Ops title. On top of it, Activision has also indirectly confirmed the big leak on social media.

Ever since it was initially leaked on the internet, the buzz for CoD 2023 has only gained a growing momentum. Currently, the existing game MWII is failing to impress the community. But that hasn’t deterred hardcore fans from showing excitement for the new premium. Undoubtedly, they are curious to know more.
Thanks to media outlet CharlieIntel, we have now got some fresh data on Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. The website recently shared a tweet with few images. It is claimed that they are from this year’s awaited game itself. A random user had initially shared them on social media. Later, CharlieIntel managed to access them. Going by images, the logo for MWIII has been revealed now.

Apparently, the game’s image and the logo was captured from a Monster Energy promotional package. One can clearly see Captain Price and a mysterious figure lurking behind him. The image also nearly confirms the red color theme for Modern Warfare III.
Furthermore, CharlieIntel later came out with another tweet. This time, the outlet compared the leaked logo with that of 2015’s Black Ops 3. Does that mean the upcoming installment will set up a connection with Treyarch’s franchise in some way? Only time will tell if this alleged theory is true or not.

Activision raises eyebrows with a shocking tweet on CoD 2023
Following the massive leak on Twitter, publisher Activision dropped a cryptic post. While it didn’t exactly mention MWIII’s name, speculations are strong that it’s somehow related to the leaked logo from Monster Energy drink’s packaging.

Meanwhile, developer Sledgehammer, the rumored leading studio on MWIII, has also made some changes on its Twitter profile. As of now, one can see a new header image that focuses on a red ‘III’ logo. In other words, it confirms the long-running rumors. Sledgehammer is, in fact, leading the development on CoD 2023.
