Delay of Call of Duty Vanguard Season 1 and Caldera

The content drop was initially supposed to release on December 1. However, the drop will now come to gamers on December 2. Player’s who purchased Vanguard will, however, still get exclusive 24-hour access to the Warzone map before its actual release.

The delay indicates that the ongoing Warzone event, the Last Days of Verdansk, will now be extended to December 7, and all players can play the new Warzone map completely free from December 8.

The release of Vanguard’s first season will include new modes and maps for the multiplayer mode. Season 1 will also have more Zombies content as well. The launch of Warzone Pacific will add a new map Caldera, which features a WW-II setting and much more vibrant colors. This will be the most definitive shift in the game’s life cycle since March 2020.

The developers haven’t provided any information on why the delay happened in the first place. Nevertheless, players are still very excited about the addition of the new map.
