Call of Duty: Vanguard Has Players Frustrated With Broken Challenges

At this point in time, it seems that it is customary for each and every installment of Call of Duty to be riddled with bugs and glitches. This year’s iteration of Call of Duty seems to be no different. Call of Duty: Vanguard players are complaining about a bug that does not track their progress for reticle challenges. This bug has been infuriating for players.

Players have reported multiple instances of packet bursts, connection issues, and much more quality of life bugs. Adding on, it seems that players will have to deal with yet another bug that will be a source of constant annoyance. Progression is an integral part of each and every Call of Duty, it gives the player an aim. It acts as a motive for the player to keep on playing. With rewards at the end, it acts as something which improves the replay value of the game many fold.

However, this year’s Call of Duty does not seem to be keeping track of these integral statistics. Players noticed that the game is not keeping track of progression whatsoever. This means that the player’s progress is stuck at zero for camouflage and reticle challenges. Players initially thought that they might be doing something wrong or that the problem was only unique to them. However, it turned out that the problem is quite widespread and that the whole community is impacted by this bug.

Players and fans took to Reddit to bring to light this issue.

As it turns out, this issue is no specific to multiplayer. The zombies community is facing this issue as well.

As of now, neither Activision, the distributor, nor Sledgehammer Games, the minds behind the title have commented or acknowledged the issue. Players have no choice but to sit tight and wait for an official bug fix or patch note to come out.
