It’s official: Call of Duty Vanguard was revealed with a teaser trailer, and a more thorough introduction.It is scheduled to take place today in the battle royale game Warzone.

Call of Duty has used Warzone as a channel to tease and reveal upcoming content ever since Black Ops Cold War’s reveal. They have scheduled an event called the Battle of Verdansk, which will begin on August 9, t 10:30 AM PT / 1:30 PM.

Previous leaks of Vanguard
Since last week, Sledgehammer Games have been teasing Vanguard. Teasers had also surfaced in-game via Warzone. At the end of a match in Warzone, a mystery guy murdered the players who had won the match.
Tom Henderson also announced on August 12 in a tweet that the Call of Duty Vanguard alpha test will take place on August 27-29. From September 10 to 12, Activision will hold a PlayStation beta test. Following that is an all-platform beta test from September 16 to 20.
Battle on Verdansk
Activision on sharing more details about the event reveals it will tease new weapons and objectives to finish. Activision is very secretive about this, and everything we know right now seems like a mystery to us. Everyone who takes part in the Battle of Verdansk receives a collection of goodies, which includes a special rifle, dagger, and watch. The objects are in the photos below.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Release and Testing
Everyone who plays any playlist in Warzone between 9:30 AM and 10:29 AM PT (12:30 PM ET – 1:29 PM ET) will receive double XP, weapon XP, and battle pass XP for 59 minutes leading up to the Vanguard reveal event.
Following a slew of speculations and leaks, Vanguard finally revealed itself on Monday. The teaser clip indicates it’s set during World War II, as expected.
Other sources reveal that Vanguard will also have an alpha test for PlayStation users in August, before the open beta release in September. The game will launch on November 5, with the first season beginning on November 23.
