Call of Duty Warzone 2 has introduced tons of new improvements, features, and gameplay mechanics this year, compared to its predecessor, now known as Warzone Caldera.

Specifically talking about new mechanics, then Call of Duty really made a massive change to its format in 2022 by finally unveiling the third-person perspective in the latest premium offerings, namely Modern Warfare II as well as Warzone 2. Surprisingly, most of the fans have ended up liking this new change, especially in Warzone 2 which initially rolled out with a dedicated 3rd BR mode. But now, it’s just gone!

Call of Duty Warzone 2 fans are left in disbelief over the complete removal of third-person mode from playlist

While the awaited update in Season 1 Reloaded recently brought tons of content for the players, something unexpected happened in Warzone 2 that has made most of them disappointed with the developing team of Raven Software. It’s because they have removed the highly popular third-person game mode from the free-to-play title.

Recently, the devs took to Twitter while addressing the situation regarding 3rd person option. They mentioned that it was mistakenly added back to the playlist of Call of Duty Warzone 2 earlier this week. And now they have removed it, once again, for an indefinite period. “While it’s not returning this week, it will be back in a future Playlist update!” read the tweet.

As soon as this tweet was posted by Raven’s official account, most of the Call of Duty players expressed their anger towards this decision. They are completely against this unexpected move made from the side of developers.

It’s also because they haven’t given a proper reason for removing the third-person mode, adding to the growing rage among the fans. “Is this a joke? 3rd Person is the ONLY REASON we were playing your game,” wrote one frustrated user.

Meanwhile, there’s an actual petition going on right now over the Change.org website, in the wake of 3rd person mode getting scrapped from Warzone 2 battle royale’s playlist. Players are urging people to register their signatures for bringing back the third-person option once again.
